Or listen below
Hi there. My name is Tamiko Kelly and I’m creator of the Feel Like Yourself Again Baby Sleep Solution and I am a certified sleep consultant and in today’s video, I want to share with you three tips that will help your baby sleep longer stretches sooner rather than later.
Now one of the things that I hear from moms all the time is that they feel guilty for wanting a good night’s sleep because everyone has told them that being exhausted is just a part of being a mom and you have to get used to it.
Well, I’m here to tell you that that’s a bunch of BS because at the end of the day, our bodies are made to be up during the day and to sleep at night, and not just sleep but sleep uninterrupted stretches at night. It’s totally normal mama for you to want a good night’s sleep and you have nothing at all to feel guilty about.
I always tell my clients your baby’s sleep is a problem when it’s a problem for you and you don’t need anybody else’s validation to cosign that you’re ready for your baby to sleep through the night.
Now let’s get into today’s three tips.
So my first tip for you
is going to be to take it easy on yourself. It’s nobody’s fault. Babies literally do not come with sleep instructions. You take all the classes when you’re pregnant. You take Lamaze classes, baby yoga. Maybe you even take a class on car seat safety, how to set up a nursery. But nobody talks about sleep until it’s too late.
So definitely don’t beat yourself up about this. The good news is that now you’ve realized the problem and you’re taking the action to make it a thing of the past. That’s tip number one.
My second tip for you
is going to be that you definitely need to be committed to getting your baby to sleep through the night. This is not something that you could just dip your pinky toe in and hope for miraculous results. No, ma’am.
You have to be committed to do the work to actually get the results and this is where most parents get tripped up. They read one book here and you skim a blog post on Google and then they get frustrated after they try one thing and it doesn’t work. Let me be totally frank with you. It’s going to take more than just one random strategy to get your baby to sleep through the night.
My third tip for you
is that you need to get help. It is impossible to do something that you’ve never done before especially when you don’t have the help of someone who’s experienced and you’re operating on little to no sleep, right?
That’s what makes it so difficult to get the results because you give up, you get frustrated when things don’t go your way the first time.
Luckily for you, you have me, your baby sleep consultant in your back pocket and I have a fabulous program called the Feel Like Yourself Again Baby Sleep Solution that will help you get your baby sleeping through the night.

*Here’s a bonus tip*

It’s actually a sign of strength because you realize that you’ve done everything that you can do and now you need someone like myself with over 50,000 hours of sleep training babies to help you get the results and here’s the thing.
It’s your shortcut. So what I will teach you during our time together will make it easy for you to get results quickly so that you can stop beating your head against the wall with these DIY strategies that only leave you more frustrated when you started and actually start to get you a good night’s sleep.
